My IRC Bots

Welcome to my IRC Bot page.

On this page you can see all of my bots and all of their features, including current development. All bots on this page are distributed under the GNU GPL license, unless noted.

TuxReminder

TuxReminder is the first bot I created. It is actually based on the ReminderBot at http://www.jibble.org/reminderbot/ and still contains some of the original source code.
Enhancements on the original:

• Added a "Tell" function
• Added all the commands so that they can be done through private messages
• Added an automatic reconnect command
• Added code so that it can respond to /invite requests
• Made it so that it doesn't say "(connection reset by peer)" when shutting it down.
• Made a help command so that it spits out a notice to anyone who says it's name on it's use and commands.

At the moment I don't have the file available to download. If you would like to have this bot on your network please contact me through the guestbook on my site.

OpBot

This bot will Op and Deop users using the !op and !deop commands. It uses an internal database that lists all the users you enter and their permissions. At the moment it only takes "whois"'s structured like the mibbit IRC. I am in the process of adding support for other "whois" types as well though. Once I add that support it will be version 1.0
Features of OpBot:

• Will Op and Deop users using standard !op and !deop commands.
• Has a built in help command triggered by @help
